At LeftCoast GrassFed®, we feel allowing our cattle to free forage on the natural grasses is the best way to take care of our land and a more humane way to take care of our animals. With a healthier animal, we can offer a healthier cut of meat.

Research shows that grass-fed beef are leaner and more nutritious and that beef from grass-fed animals have higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids. And that’s important because Omega-3 fatty acids are known to help reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, reduce symptoms of hypertension, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), joint pain, and numerous other benefits. Grass-fed beef also has more  conjugated linoleic acid (cancer-fighting properties), vitamins A and E, and lower levels of dietary cholesterol.

Research also shows grassfed beef to be lower in fat and cholesterol and less likely to contain harmful E. coli bacteria.

And by rotating our cattle periodically, we not only provide the best forage Mother Nature provides, but we are helping to limit our carbon footprint on the environment.
