Grass-fed burger cooking technique

See the directions below for making the perfect grass-fed burger.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Grass-fed ground beef

Directions

Divide one pound of thawed grass-fed ground beef into patties ( 1/2 pound burgers are large, 1/4 pound are a better “family” size ).

Allow patties to reach room temperature – about 30 minutes.

Use medium-high heat, place patties on the grill or in the heated frying pan (pan searing, watch for splattering grease). Watch for juices to rise to the surface at an active rate, then flip. Wait for the juices to again rise to the surface of the cooked side and wait for them to take on a brownish color then remove from heat.

Serve on buns, or go bun-less with some fun toppings.
